Electronic Register of Disability Certificates
The Electronic Register of Disability Certificates (ERDS) is a subsystem of the Integrated Complex Information System of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (ICIS PFU) and is designed to accumulate, store and use information about issued, extended and registered disability certificates for the implementation of the rights of insured persons to receive temporary disability benefits, maternity benefits, payment for the first five days of temporary disability, which is carried out at the expense of the employer, as well as to check the validity of issuing and extending disability certificates.
ERDC automates the following processes:
- Receiving information from the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHS) on medical reports, temporary disability of persons (MRTD) and notifications about the cancellation of MRTD through the electronic interaction system of the State Electronic Information Resources "Trembita",
- Registration of disability certificates in the ERDC based on the MRTD and data from The Register of Insured Persons (RZO), namely:
- New disability certificates,
- Reduction of the disability certificate,
- New disability certificates as extension in cases of long-term illness.
- Cancellation of disability certificates based on notifications by the MRTD,
- Transfer of a disability certificate for payment and uploading information on disability certificates ready for payment to the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine.
Analysis and control of ERDC work is possible by:
- Search, viewing, and data analyzing of disability certificates,
- Search, viewing and analyzing data from medical reports on temporary disability,
- Monitoring log for analyzing the processing status of exchange services between the PFU and NHS.
As of 01.07.2022, more than 8.7 million electronic disability certificates have been generated using the ERDC.
