Medirent sincerely congratulates our colleagues on the Day of the Social Worker!
As they say, stability, faith in a secure future, the ability to feel confident and protected are among the basic components of happiness beyond health and love.
Therefore, our work directly depends on how happy the people of Ukraine will feel.
The social protection field is particularly critical during war. Julius Caesar was the first leader in world history to introduce social security at the state level with the creation of the “Roman Legionnaires” for disabled people and war veterans.
Unfortunately, nothing has fundamentally changed in 2,000 years. The war that has come to Ukraine, requires the efforts of the entire society to support the most vulnerable and those who have suffered the most.
Social protection, its level, accessibility, and friendliness; are signs of the development and level of civilization of society as a whole. Humanity has come a very long way in the evolution of forms of mutual support from the closest relatives, the church, professional communities, and all the way to the state, which has evolved from Caesar, through Bismarck and Beveridge, to 5 levels of social support.
We are lucky to be engaged in a very necessary and interesting field.
Social protection is firmly woven into the fabric of life, society, the state, and every person.
Participation in these processes gives us both a huge "plus in karma" and the opportunity to apply our talents, intelligence, and energies to make Ukraine become an even more modern state, that will make the citizens proud while helping the destitute find their own piece of warmth and love and make the nation a winner in the trials that have befallen on us, and to leave our children a better, happier and safer world.
We wish you good health, bright thoughts, love in your heart, safety for you and your loved ones, success in the incredibly important and responsible work that you are doing!
We wish us Victory!
